Product Applications:

Acts as an intermediate in the production of hormonal drugs such as isophytol, testosterone, progesterone, and norethisterone.

Used as a raw material for aluminum ester coupling agents in rubber and plastic processing, a raw material for ink thickener - aluminum oxyhexacyclic fatty acid compound AOC18, and one of the raw materials for composite aluminum-based grease.

Functions as a reducing agent and a strong dehydrating agent.

Serves as a raw material for dehydrating agents, catalysts, and waterproofing agents.

Physical Properties:

Soluble in ethanol, isopropanol, benzene, toluene, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, and petroleum hydrocarbons. Decomposes upon contact with water.
